Cannot find a better place to eat 东坡肉 ! It is amazing! Bringing my girlfriend to meet my parents and the food was perfect!!

Authentic Shanghainese food. Having been in Shanghai for a few weeks recently, the food here brought me back to wonderful memories. The food is as real "Shanghai" as it gets.The service is very good, and the manager "Yan" was friendly and attentive. I'll be back there many more times in the future.

Really like this place. Coming from a Shanghainese family, I must say they serve up pretty authentic SH dishes. The braised eel is my favorite. Xiao Long Bao and Zheng jian bao is fairly good. But my absolute favorite is the fried battered seaweed croaker. Crisp lightly battered flakey fish with a nice seaweed aroma dipped in a bit of vinegar. Mmm so good!

Wait was not too bad. Price of food is slightly expensive. They charge for everything but a glass of water.Service is slow and they even use electronic remotes.The food was alright but in my opinion not worth the price as I can think of several place I'm comparison that would he well worth the visit for the price and distance of travel.I would avoid if I don't have to come towards this direction.

This is my new favorite Shanghainese restaurant. The delicious braised pork is my favorite dish from this place. I highly recommend it. The oxtail soup is also not to be missed. I plan to come back to this place everytime I'm back inLos Angeles.

This is my friend's favorite restaurant and she's from Shanghai. The food was very flavorful, but some dishes were a little salty for my palate.

Tasty food

This is a higher-priced Chinese restaurant in this area, which features non-Cantonese southern style cuisine. Its interior is well-decorated and much cleaner than its local peers, and the quality of its entrees is much better, too. What this restaurant can improve is the portion of its food, which is generally MUCH smaller than many of its peers in this area, which doesn't seem to match the price of each food item, and is certainly inadequate for accommodating group dinners. Its servers also need better training so that they know when to replace used plates for individual guests and what entrees need to be portioned out in small bowls or dishes to serve individual guests. Also, it is both inconvenient and even impolite to let dinner guests wait outside the restaurant until exactly 5:30 p.m., as this place is literally closed after lunch time until then every day, a practice which is quite unusual among local restaurants.

Food was good, only issue was that service was a little slow

Love this place. An awesome little gem that has become a family favorite. Orange chicken and beef and green beans is my favorite.

The food is pretty good however very very pricey. The service is really really bad and that's when my family are good friends with the restaurant owner!! We have gone to this place many times because we do like their cooking and especially their dessert soups! Their cold appetizers also taste very good. Parking is a nightmare always and if you don't know anyone be prepared to wait an hour or more for a table for dinner!

This restaurant is horrible, the service is bad, the owner doesn't care about customer. Go to next door, there are some Free HongKong dishes.

Too salty and too sweet.

Delicious food and great service. Shanghai style food with a mixture of Chinese style foods thrown in. Would definitely come back here to eat and recommend to others but wouldKeep in mind the price is higher compared to other places nearby. Restaurant is cleaner and provides a higher end service so the price range is reasonable for the service they provide. Give them a try.

We got there early so didn't have to wait. The food was served hot and super fast (3-5 minutes after ordering fast). The portions were large, but pretty pricey. I’m not sure it was worth it…

Definitely disappointing. I had one of the specials - combination spicy noodle soup and it wasn't very flavorful nor was it spicy. I also had mapo tofu and it didn't have any minced pork or meat. It had tofu, chili oil and peas - maybe their version was vegetarian. In any case, I don't understand the 4.5 stars at all.

Authentic Shanghai style food. Great alternative to Cantonese style or your regular mom and pops. There's something great at every turn of the menu.

Their wonton was good but their soup wasn't so authentic. I doubted their hygiene because me and my boyfriend got sick for 2 days after our meal at their place.

Pretty good Shanghai style food. We were most impressed with the speed of service and quality of appetizers. We arrived at 6:10 and promptly for a table without reservation. But they got really busy shortly thereafter. The whole place was packed until when we left around 8:30.

Very clean food, good service, truly Shanghai menu, staff speaks enough English to get along fine and very clean facility... including the rest rooms.

Great food for reasonable prices. Minus one star just because service is laughably inattentive at times, even for a Chinese restaurant. When you have their attention, they are great; it’s just hard to get their attention.
